The mural in this luxurious master bath features two statues overflowing with geraniums and ivy. At the homeowners request, we had the ivy climb the wall and cross the ceiling to wrap around the pillars.

Each and every leaf of ivy was individually painted to show the delicate veins that radiate outward from the stem. This is a labor intensive process at any time, but it proved especially difficult for this particular ceiling - which was too low to stand and too high to sit....

The dome in the center was also painted and serves as a companion piece to this mural.
