At that time we can see the space, and also measure and photograph the wall or walls in question. This will help us to determine the exact square footage, and get us started on the design for your Work of Art. There is no obligation, and no pressure. We aren't trying to 'sell' you anything. In fact, our interest in working with you is often in direct proportion to your interest in working with us.

Consultations are free within a 30 mile radius of Providence, Rhode Isalnd. For consultations beyond 30 miles, there may be a small charge proportional to the distance and time required for travel. Let us know your location, and we'll let you know if there is a fee.

We create Designs for all of our Murals and Mosaics so that you can see in advance approximately what it is that we plan to do for you. Based upon your desires and the needs of the space, we will create a series of eye-catching Designs for your review and consideration.

Creating a Design for your Mural will not only show you what we have in mind, but it will also help to determine the exact cost of the work. Once we agree upon a Design, you will know in advance - and in writing - exactly how much your Mural will cost, and this price will cover and include all labor, materials, and anything else relevant to the creation of the Mural.

We charge a token fee of $250 to create Designs for most of our Murals. This price includes the creation of three separate designs, and allows for three revisions. Designs for exceptionally large Murals, or Murals of great complexity, will cost more - usually 10% of the projected cost.

Murals by The Art of Life are meticulously detailed and therefore extraordinarily labor intensive. While very simple Murals can cost as little as $20 per square foot, most of our murals fall in the range of $50 to $150 per square foot.

To calculate the minimum charge for a mural by The Art of Life, measure your wall and multiply the height times the width. Multiply this number by $20. Your mural will cost at least this much. The only way to reduce this cost would be to reduce the amount of square footage to be painted.

Once we agree on a Design and a Price, we will draft an Agreement outlining in detail what we plan to do for you; how much it will cost, a payment schedule, when work will commence, when we expect to finish, and any other details pertinent to the execution of the project. We will both have a signed copy of this Agreement.

Yes, we Travel. We are ready, willing, and able to travel anywhere in the United States or to any number of countries around the world. That said, we would vastly prefer Hawaii to Baghdad, but we're not picky. Traveling expenses - airfare, lodging, car rental, etc. - will be added to the cost of the Mural.
